Partnering with Florida Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)

We are collaborating with Florida Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) clients who are interested in pursuing self-employment. https://griffinhammis.typepad.com/florida_cbtac/

Service Fees:

Financial Resources: Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), Free comprehensive business plan services to eligible persons with disabilities referred by VR to our company.

Sliding Scale Fee: For clients not referred by VR, our company offers a fixed fee to clients who cannot afford to pay for our services. It is based on their income.

Virtual Consultations: We offer a variety of appointments.

1) Meet and Greet for 30 minutes – for a fee

2) VR Counselor/Customer 30 minutes – free 

3) Initial self-employment meeting 1 hour – for a fee

Consultation Agreement & Cancellation Policy

Cancellations, No-Shows, & Refunds

Clients receiving a Sliding Scale Fee: After your initial consultation, if you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation for services, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with at least 24-hour notice will qualify for a full refund. Any client consultation not started within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time is considered a No-Show. No-shows and clients with less than 24 hours notice will not receive a refund, which you agree is the fee earned by this office for preparation for the consultation.

Permitted use of the website

Licenses granted are subject to these Terms and are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

This AFES client agreement cannot be assigned if you are not the client.

All copyright, trademarks (including its distinguishing guise and trade dress), and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) of AFES, LLC Materials belong to AFES, LLC, and its vendors reserve all rights to the AFES, LLC Materials.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, AFES Material and AFES, LLC Services are provided “as is” without any warranty. You accept full responsibility for determining whether AFES, LLC Material and AFES, LLC Services are suitable for any particular purpose and for protecting yourself against any possible consequential damages.

Except as expressly provided in these Terms or where prohibited by law, the maximum liability of AFES, LLC is the amount paid to AFES, LLC by the customer/client; however, where AFES, LLC has provided a service, the maximum liability of AFES, LLC for any AFES, LLC Service is the portion of the amount paid to AFES, LLC by the customer/client specifically for the AFES, LLC Services as calculated by AFES, LLC.

All guarantees are subject to any limits specified in AFES, LLC Materials.

Our maximum liability for any AFES, LLC refund commitments specified in AFES, LLC Materials is subject to a maximum of the amount paid by the customer. This is subject to a client claim submitted within 30 days of purchase.

Regardless of the heading, all Terms apply to the greatest extent permitted by law, and the Terms take precedence over any conflicting AFES, LLC Materials. This is because the AFES, LLC Material is legally relevant to this Agreement under the law.

Except where prohibited by law, you agree to indemnify and hold AFES, LLC, its directors, officers, and employees, harmless from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and related legal fees asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site or AFES, LLC Material or AFES, LLC Services.

Except where prohibited by law, the Site Terms and Conditions for the Site are governed by the laws of the Province of Florida, USA (United States of America). You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Orange County, Florida, except where prohibited by law.

Subject to the exceptions specified herein, if you and AFES, LLC resolve any dispute by information negotiations, then any resolution of the client’s will be conducted exclusively by binding arbitration.

A client request for the appointment of an arbitrator must be in writing. AFES, LLC will have 90 days to choose and appoint an independent and impartial arbitrator upon receipt of the client’s written request. The AFES arbitration will be held in the City of Apopka, Florida, USA.

The cost of binding arbitration is as follows: AFES, LLC may bring a lawsuit without binding arbitration should the law involve intellectual property infringement or injunctive relief. Also, either party may use small claims court.

You will not see the dispute heard as a class action, private attorney general action, or any other proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity. Arbitration AFES or any other proceeding to resolve any client’s dispute in any forum will be conducted individually. This is not combined with another without the prior written consent of all parties to all affected arbitrations or proceedings.

If any term, covenant, condition, or provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision is to be excluded to the extent of extending such invalidity or unenforceability; all other provisions will remain in full force and effect; and, to the extent permitted and possible, the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed replaced by that which is valid and enforceable that comes closest to expressing the intentions of the invalid or unenforceable provision.

No failure on the part of AFES, LLC, in exercising any right or power under these Terms will operate as a waiver of such right.

Except as explicitly outlined in this Agreement, these Terms, the pricing displayed on the Site or policy, the Site’s Disclaimer, and, if you are an affiliate, the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions constitute the whole Agreement between you and the Agency for Empowerment & Support, LLC.
